I’m Daniel and I’m from Bath in south-west England, one of the UK’s most popular cities for tourists to visit. I have taught all levels of student from beginner to proficiency, and all ages from pre-teens to adults nearing retirement, so I hope I can draw on this experience to help you.
These days I live near Barcelona, which was the natural place for me to come to get my TESOL qualification and pursue my career in English teaching, since I already spoke Spanish, having studied it (along with French) at university. I love teaching English because I love languages. Yes, you have to practise, but the rewards are really satisfying. I’m still studying in my spare time – Catalan and a bit of Russian.
I have travelled all over the world, including every European country and all the continents that aren’t covered in ice! In fact, my first teaching experience was at a Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal.
I can help you improve your English according to your needs, from Cambridge exam preparation to speaking and writing for business, and particularly the skill that will make you sound like a native: pronunciation. It’s all about practice, but let’s do it!
