Hi there! I’m Carrie and I’m a certified EFL teacher originally from a small town in England, but I’ve been living in Europe for just over 9 years now. I qualified as a TEFL teacher in 2012 and since then I’ve been teaching English in countries such as Spain, France, Italy and the UK. I also teach English online to students from all over the world, including Asia and South America.
My main goal and focus within each class is to meet the individual needs for each and every one of my students, whether that be exam preparation, pronunciation practice, grammar skills or speaking skills. My classes are very dynamic and creative; therefore, you can improve your language learning in any way you choose!
For the last 8 years I’ve been preparing students for Cambridge exams at specialist preparation centres in Spain and Italy. I’ve prepared students for A2 KEY, B1 PET, B2 FIRST and C1 ADVANCED. I have the necessary tools and materials to help you define and accomplish your examination goals.
As well as teaching, I also have experience in content creation, including designing online courses for phonics practice and grammar skills.
Outside of the classroom, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen or running along El Paseo Marítimo.
